Transiting to a Different Terminal at KLIA for a Connecting Flight to Senai Airport
Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL), commonly known as KLIA, is about a 5-hour journey by road to Metta Lodge. From this airport, you can either take a connecting flight to Senai International Airport (JHB) Johor Bahru, or a 5-hour bus ride to Larkin Bus Terminal Johor Bahru. For foreign students, please remember to check and obtain the necessary visa for your entry into Malaysia.
This section is intended for travellers who need to transit to a different terminal at KLIA to board their connecting flight to Senai Airport. You will need to treat KLIA1 and KLIA2 as different airports, so your arrival and departing flights at KLIA must have at least a 4 hours gap. You must first go through immigration and customs control to exit your arrival terminal before you can travel to the other terminal. After clearing immigration, you may take a free shuttle bus to move between the 2 terminals at KLIA:
KLIA1 to KLIA2: Go to the waiting area at KLIA1 located at Door 4, Level 1. This video will show you how to board the shuttle bus to KLIA2. Please allocate about 40 minutes to transfer from KLIA1 arrival hall to KLIA2 departure hall using this free shuttle bus service.
KLIA2 to KLIA1: Go to the waiting area at KLIA2 located at Bay A10, Level 1, Transportation Hub, gateway@klia2 mall. This video will show you how to board the shuttle bus to KLIA1. Please allocate about 50 minutes to transfer from KLIA2 arrival hall to KLIA1 departure hall using this free shuttle bus service.

Taking a bus from KLIA to Larkin Bus Terminal
Larkin Bus Terminal (also known as Larkin Sentral) is the nearest bus terminal to Metta Lodge. There are frequent express bus services from KLIA to Larkin Bus Terminal, although they may not be cheaper than taking a flight to Senai Airport. The KLIA1 Bus Station is located on the Ground Floor, Block C Annex of the Main Terminal Building; while the KLIA2 Bus Station is situated on Level 1, Transportation Hub, gateway@klia2 mall. You may purchase your bus ticket from the self-service kiosk (select "Larkin, Johor Bahru" as the destination).
